This article should be "mass fainting" only and Tanzania should be a subsection. mass fainting episodes have been a frequent occurrence at garment factories workers in Cambodia. In light of the Cambodian mass fainting episodes, this phenomenon needs to be looked at in depth. At a factory in Cambodia that is believed to make Nike apparel, at least 107 garment workers fainted on Wednesday. The cause is likely to be exposure to chemicals and poor ventilation, reports New York magazine.
This is not the first time a mass fainting incident has occurred in the country. New York magazine reported that in the last year, 284 workers had passed out at a factory that provides supplies for H&M, and 49 workers fell ill at a factory that produces apparel for Puma.
