Journalist bias
This section is very poorly written. Twice it is stated that "Media in Sweden is often criticized of..." without proper sources. The first time it is backed up by a study showing that unionized journalists have sympathies more to the left than the general population. That is presumably true for union members in general and in any case does not show a journalistic bias. In the second case it is backed up by a quote from an individual journalist, which was obviously selected to back up the opinion of the author. I don't see how one could possibly draw any general conclusions about Swedish journalism from the fact that "somebody said something stupid". I will also add that translating opartiskhet with fairness might be somewhat misleading, though technically correct. I think impartiality or possibly detachment would get closer to the original meaning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.32.110.51 (talk) 12:44, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Yea, i agree. It seems like someone (possibly not even swedish), is putting personal opinion into the mix... 178.174.232.139 (talk) 18:37, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

Updated statistics from 2011 instead of 1999
Here are the results of a survey among 2500 randomly selected Swedish journalists, by Kent Asp, Professor of journalism at the Gothenburg University, of which 60% responded.
Of note is that 41% of Swedish journalists voted for the Green Party in 2011. Among journalists employed by the state owned Swedish Television the number was 52%, and for Swedish Radio it was 54%:

Weeklies do not exist in Sweden?
I was expecting this article to mention weekly newspapers, they are usually more interesting than dailies. For example, in Denmark we have Weekendavisen. I saw the category sv:Kategori:Svenska veckotidningar but most of them are defunct. Is it really the case that there are no more weeklies in Sweden? If that is the case, the article should mention it. --Ysangkok (talk) 19:04, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
