Matâ'Utu or Mata-Utu?
Matâ'Utu is the way that Wallisians spell it, and since it is their capital, you'd think they'd know how to spell it. Sometimes its written Matâ'utu also. The French spell it Mata-Utu, but they also spell London as Londres, Edinburgh as Édimbourg and French Guiana as Guyane française. --Bob01:07, 2 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
Mata-Utu is the English spelling, check for instance [1]. So I am moving the article back to Mata-Utu. On Wikipedia we use English spellings, even when native names are different. For instance we have a Munich article, although Germans actually call it München. Hardouin23:54, 12 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
