Longitudinal shape?
editThe article refers to the western portion of the building as being "longitudinal in shape." What does this actually refer to? IrishStephen (talk) 17:53, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- See here. The building left of the arrow is the chapel, in the one right of it are the monastic cells. I am not quite sure if it deserves to be mentioned at all. Gugganij (talk) 20:32, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for that image. My quarrel is with the terminology. I'd describe the chapel as being rectangular. Longitudinal seems ill-suited to describing a shape, as it usually refers to waves or cartographic lines. If you wouldn't object I may change it to rectangular.IrishStephen (talk) 12:12, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Feel free to change it. I am not an English native speaker, so I am happy to get some linguistic advise. :-) Gugganij (talk) 12:43, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
