Why create a page like this, when there is practically nothing on it? Why not write the page BEFORE creating it, so as not to create a poor page? J Milburn 18:25, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Proposed Improvements:
Add reference material to Argo clock. Particularly focus on the Dreadnaught project's material. Absolutely superb. Also include Dreyer Table material. At least mention controversy between Pollen Clock and Dreyer Table.Double check comment made on clocks. I am references that state the Dreyer clock did not correct the bearing prediction for range. I do not have that same information for the Argo clock.Figure 2 and Figure 4 are not sized properly. Check how the PNG was generated. In reference to linear approximation for time of flight, include the quote.- Add discussion on the use of trial and error, coupled with numerical derivatives, to refine target course and speed information.
Clarify how the sign of the velocity vectors is defined.Change reference to MIT paper on Ford to a web reference so that direct quotes can be included.
