Population "at the 2000 census"?
editI'm confused, like I was at Hartsel, though less so here. The population is said to be "at the 2000 census", but Matheson is an unincorporated town, which shouldn't be and isn't listed there. This time, the population doesn't match that in the ZIP code, either, though it's not inconsistent.
If the population didn't come from the census, where did it come from for 2000? Can someone provide a more specific reference?
