"Matt" cartoon

edit

The reference to "Matt", the cartoon in The Telegraph in the UK has been removed several times, on the grounds that its artist, Matthew Pritchett, is correctly already listed on the Matt (given name) second-level disambiguation page.

However the cartoon itself is published simply as "Matt". As a cartoon, it obviously doesn't have a surname. And the cartoonist's full name isn't published with it. So for anybody looking for information on that cartoon, "Matt" is the entire name that they have to go on; they wouldn't think to look for a cartoon under Matt (given name), nor would they necessarily know the cartoonist's surname: the cartoon is considerably more famous than the artist.

So I've added an entry for this back in, hopefully phrasing it to make it clear that the item is there because of the name of the cartoon itself, not because its artist is one of (literally hundreds of) people that have the given name Matt. Smylers (talk) 07:13, 28 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
