Wording problem in 'Career' section of article.
editIn the 'Career' section of this article, it is stated: "He has also signed on to voice the role of Sled in Secret of the Wings, which will be released in October 2012."
The "which will be" part makes it sound like that the 2012 event is yet to occur.173.91.255.26 (talk) 02:04, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Just some tweaks, mostly to the choppy prose style. 7-day hold to An anonymous username, not my real name. Ping me when changes have been made. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:29, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

edit- Your style has a lot of short paragraphs and choppy sentences. Some increased variety of sentences and length of paragraphs would go a long way to improving your prose.
- Agreed; my editing style has improved much since then. I've cut down on excessive paragraphs.
- His father worked in insurance and his mother was a school secretary. Comma after "insurance": see User:Sammi Brie/Commas in sentences
- Done
- Spell out "eight" instead of 8
- Done
- three episodes the missing "of"
- The Career section reads like a proseline. The paragraphs are short.
- Italicize Disaster Movie
- Done
- The film later appeared on Empire's 2010 poll, The 50 Worst Movies Ever Remove the comma after poll; that is essential information not to be buried in an appositive.
- Done
- Address the "who" tag next to Dave Filoni.
Sourcing and spot checks
editEarwig catches Apple TV using our lead section for their actor profile, but there are no substantial concerns beyond that.
Is there a way to replace reference 8 (IMDB) for the cancellation of Point Pleasant? Certainly there is some media coverage of its cancellation that is more reliable. Or at least that he was in the series.
- I found another source.
Five sources were selected for spot checks. To replace #5, I spot checked another source:
- 4: Someone else won Manhunt.
- 5: Unsure what I'm looking for on this Rotten Tomatoes page.
- This was to verify the appearance of another celebrity; it no longer serves any puspose, so I removed it.
- 7: This source doesn't mention Lanter, though it does mention the quick cancellation,
- 14: Appearance of Disaster Movie at #14 on the 50 Worst Movies list.
- 26: UPI piece on Matt Lanter's appearance in Timeless including mention of both its cancellations.
- 30: article on starwars.com mentions Lanter's roles. I'd accept this. Do add the author information.

Improved to Good Article status by An anonymous username, not my real name (talk). Nominated by Onegreatjoke (talk) at 19:21, 18 January 2023 (UTC).
- Article was promoted to GA within seven days of nomination, meets newness and length requirements. I gave it a light copy edit, removing hyperspecific dates for e.g. releases of films that hinders the flow of sentences, IMO. QPQ requirement fulfilled. No close paraphrasing detected. Approve both hooks. DigitalIceAge (talk) 00:37, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
