NESN appearances
editLately (June 2012) Matt has been appearing as a studio analyst for Boston Red Sox broadcasts on NESN, FYI. Wambag (talk) 00:15, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
"Former" or "Retired
editThe article indicates that Matt Stairs is a 'former' player. As he is doing analyst for the Red Sox, and has not played in more than two years, should he not be indicated as being retired? Reverend Edward Brain, D.D. (talk) 22:15, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- I looked on several retired MLB players pages and "former" is used as the term on all. Ckruschke (talk) 16:54, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Ckruschke
