Thoughts on whether this article should be on the person, Matthew Bullock; the attempted extradition of him from Canada; or the entire event from bad apples, "riot", arrests, lynching, trials of those men arrested, attempted extradition of Matthew Bullock, and aftermath. I've added some references for secondary sources (one of them in a peer review journal though it is somewhat narrow in its focus). There is also some info on a University of North Carolina project to find and do a oral history of the descendants of the two men lynched.
