Matthew Piers Watt Boulton
editDear Sir, I have just read an article89.197.112.226 (talk) 15:52, 12 April 2018 (UTC) about Matthew Piers Watt Boulton which wrongly claims that the current occupiers of the Great Tew Estate in Oxfordshire (the Johnsons) are distantly related to M.P.W. Boulton. They are not. Major Eustace Robb who died in 1985 and who was indeed related to the Boulton family through his maternal grand-mother (M.P.W. Boulton's sister Mary-Anne who was born in 1828 and who married Capt. John Robb RN) gave the Great Tew Estate to his land agent James Johnson when he died. Mr Johnson was was not related to either the Boulton or to the Robb families. Please can the article on M.P.W. Boulton be corrected accordingly? Regards, Edmund Robb

Copyvio consern
editIs there a copyvio consern?
Article: "named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1960 to honour Boulton for his invention of the aileron"
Source : "Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Matthew P.W. Boulton, English inventor of ailerons for lateral control of aircraft, in 1868."
Pinging @Bishonen:, an admin who deals with copyvios. Bishonen, I hope you have some time to spare on this one. Thanks. Cinadon36 (talk) 10:47, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
- Me..? Copyright? I don't, much, but this looks like a simple case. (For hard cases, I recommend contacting User:Diannaa.) I don't see a problem. The information in the source is so brief and factual that it's hard to vary the wording, see WP:FACTSONLY. Using the information really means partly using the wording, it's unavoidable. - Ok, sorry for pinging you, what you say seems legit. Lets wait for Dianaa's insight though. Cinadon36 (talk) 12:13, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
