Name
editIt is customary to use surnames for the subject of WP biographies, but I just cannot make it work in this article. "Cunard" clearly refers to her poor husband, and I have felt constrained to ring the changes on Maud/Emerald/Lady as appropriate throughout the article. Happy to discuss if anyone can see a workable way round this problem. Tim riley (talk) 10:57, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I see your difficulty. I don't think there is a perfect solution. Where appropriate, I think I prefer "Lady Cunard" to Maud or Emerald. I've made some tentative changes, but feel free to revert if you don't think they help. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 14:48, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- Your changes, standardising on "Lady Cunard" are for the best, I think, on reflection. Tim riley (talk) 18:37, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
