Max Muscle was NOT Jeff Warner
editJust a note for the Max Muscle page, there is a lot of mis-information around the internet saying Max Muscle/Maxx was portrayed by Jeff Warner (aka J.W. Storm), who has a wikipedia page. However this is incorrect. If you look at footage/pics of J.W. Storm (there's a few of his WCW matches on YouTube) and compare it to footage/pics of Max Muscle (again, he has a few WCW matches on YouTube), you can clearly see it's not the same person, facially they are different, and their bodies are different too. It's definetely not the same person. There was a lot of articles on wikipedia including talk of Max Muscle that linked to the Jeff Warner page, but I have changed them all to redirect to this new article for Max Muscle. I do not know his real name, but I suspect his first name is John considering his WCW debut ringname "Big Bad John". I'm leaving this note here so other users don't mistakenly think Max Muscle is Jeff Warner and fill wikipedia with the incorrect information again. Wf.the.assassin.wf (talk) 02:55, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Max Muscle was NOT Agent Maxx
editAnother note for the Max Muscle page to discourage people adding incorrect information - despite at least one (generally reliable) online source stating the contrary, Max Muscle personally confirmed to me in a private conversation that he did NOT portray the character "Agent Maxx" in NWA's "Border Patrol" tag team (circa 1998) alongside Agent Gunn. I do not currently know the real name of whoever played the Agent Maxx character. Wf.the.assassin.wf (talk) 07:36, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
Big Bad John
editThe link from the WCW Australia article to Big Bad John is not consistent with the wrestler who portrayed Big Bad John in the Australian wrestling promotion of the late 60s to mid 70s. The link takes readers to "Maxa Muscle" with a DOB of 1963, which would make him only 7 years old at the height of the infamy of the "Big Bad John" character from Australian TV wrestling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.120.18.133 (talk) 04:42, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing this out, you are correct that the Big Bad John of the Australian WCW was a completely different person to the Big Bad John of the American WCW (this page relates to the latter). I have removed the link from the Australian WCW page to avoid confusion. Wrestla1967 (talk) 18:05, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Not Big Bad John in GWF
editWikipedia's own list for former GWF personnel lists Big Bad John as being portrayed by Randal Reeder, and watching an old match on youtube (Patriot vs Dark Patriot) Big Bad John comes out to save Bruce Pritchard after the match and he's clearly not the same person as Max Muscle. googling Randal Reeder turns up a guy who looks like he could very well be Big Bad John, but that's not the point, simply that it's not the guy on this page.
