Citation needed(?)
editI'm just curious why a certain user thought that this particular sentence needed a footnote. In 2005, Richter produced the Vashti Bunyan album Lookaftering.[citation needed] If you follow the album link: it clearly says that Richter is the producer of the album — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albin H-L (talk • contribs) 15:28, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

New album release, 2020 (Voices)
editHi everyone, I think there's going to have to be an update regarding the recent release of Max Richter's album, Voices - the section of both his own article, the list of albums by him, etc have not been updated to reflect this. Cheers, Tuneful euphonium (talk) 08:37, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- There's a Voices 2 available from 9 April 2021 https://shop.maxrichtermusic.com 194.207.86.26 (talk) 13:38, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
Arrival score.
editI notice Arrival has been returned to the list of "scores" for Richter but this is inaccurate, A 2004 Richter recording was used and therefore should not be listed under "scores" which has a specific meaning. This is why if you look up 2001: A Space Odyssey (score) it gives a page with Alex North's unused score, and if you go to 2001: A Space Odyssey (soundtrack) you get the recordings used in the film itself. It's not enough to screw up specific terms like this and then insert about his "involvement" (because he had no involvement beyond presumably giving his permission and then collecting the royalties.)
The "undo" mentions "an award!" that Richter won, with is as far as I can tell merely an odd "technical achievement" for "contribution" from a newspaper award, but not for it as the score itself. I've no doubt Richter's music makes a contribution to Arrival just as Richard Strauss's made a contribution to 2001: A Space Odyssey, but neither composed scores for the respective films. Arrival's use of the film is mentioned twice in the article text, but should not be listed as a score. Duckwalk71 (talk) 16:15, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
Very little personal history
editWould be nice if someone would give a fuller biography of who the composer is, rather than just a list of his very extensive work. Bticho (talk) 01:36, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
