Last name, number of photos
editIn regards to first name/last name usage: per the Manual of Style, Mounds should be referred to by her last name after the initial mention of her entire name.
In regards to the multiple photos: per the Manual of Style, "Some general guidelines which should be followed in the absence of a compelling reason not to: ... Avoid sandwiching text between two images facing each other." -- Joie de Vivre 16:53, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Third Opinion
editDon't put so many images on one article unless it is rather long, or they all serve a particularly important function. All edits should be made to conform to the MOS, and should be altered if needed. Please talk to the IP on their talk page and attempt to put up a negotiation. If they won't respond and they continue, you may need full protection for disputes. In short, remove some images and make sure that the article conforms to the Manual of Style. bibliomaniac15 05:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Edits for protected article
editWell, I think full protection for the article was overkill and that semi-pro would've been enough, but that's the admin's call and I'm not about to argue too strenously. I see a pair of images got deleted upstream - Image:DSC00054.jpg and File:Dsc03112.jpg - resulting in a pair of redlinks in this article. Can those redlinks be removed from the article? Image
editAn agreement at Wikiproject Pornography, formed by consensus:
- "... images should not be explicit in nature. Pictures with the genitals, bust, or buttocks of the person exposed should not be posted... The reason for this is to avoid any legal entanglements due to the 18 U.S.C. 2257. The point of a picture is to put a face to a name -- if people want pictures of the person, there is always Google search. We are here to create an encyclopedia, not a porn farm."

- I've e-mailed Maxi Mounds regarding the most recent image that was inserted into the article, and she tells me that the licensing information on Image:MAXIMOUNDS.jpg is incorrect, so away it goes. WODUP 18:43, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Official bio
editMaxi Mounds provided her official bio and credit list under GFDL license in response to a WP:ERP request - I've included it at Talk:Maxi Mounds/Official Bio for any users who may wish to use it in expanding her article. Videmus Omnia Talk 03:37, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nicely done. Only item which I have a question about it is should that fan mailing address at the bottom of the page be present? Tabercil 03:48, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I included the text she sent verbatim - I don't think it's a big deal since the same address is provided on her website, which is linked from here. Videmus Omnia Talk 04:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Last name
editJust curious... is Mounds really her last name? I stumbled upon this woman from the fake boobs article, and I had thought it was really her surname at first. Upon second thought, couldn't Mounds be a pun for her extremely large... mammary glands? Or does that just happen to be her last name? I thought it was a fake name, like Tila Tequila. This article doesn't say her birth name or anything. Lady★Galaxy 07:06, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Birthdate
editIMDB gives October 25, 1964 as her birthday, making her about six years older. Of course, imdb is not a reliable source, but I can't even open her home page (where the other date presumably comes from) to open. It is certainly not uncommon for people to lie about their age, so I'm not sure I would trust the home page in any case. Can anyone provide a definitive source? ubiquity (talk) 14:15, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
