Wall Street Journal Articles 2019
Several articles in WSJ this summer made it clear that the new Brazilian President of Kraft Foods who was put there from 3G a Brazilian firm that owns less than 50% of this conglomerate after all the adding up of various stuff thinks Maxwell House Instant Coffee is an unprofitable item and is trying to sell it to someone else. In combination with Berkshire Hathaway 3G controls less than 50% of Heinz-Kraft but they have decided to “cut out dead wood” and have deemed Maxwell House Instant Coffee, which according to several sources including the local Giant Eagle’s head of the coffee department as the most popular brand of Instant Coffee, as dead wood.
