Is he still with AEW?
editIs MJF still with AEW or not? 41.116.114.81 (talk) 08:36, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, current events are part of a storyline. — Czello 08:37, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
There's no confirmation it was a worked shoot
editStill not confirmation it was a worked shoot, so that last part in his career history should be removed 2A00:23C7:5180:7901:DD5A:F6E8:A17F:759C (talk) 06:32, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

He is no longer leader of the pinnacle
editPlease remove that he's the leader of the pinnacle because he recently feuded with Wardlow and FTR turned face 41.116.14.52 (talk) 06:39, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
Dynamite Diamond Ring
editRemoved statement saying he's concurrently holding the diamond ring and the world title, the ring is a prize won each year and not a "defendable" title in AEW, it is more proper to refer to the ring as something he has won akin to a trophy than a title that would be defended. Jayd313316 (talk) 02:46, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- For the first time since the Ring's inception AEW is now billing a match where MJF will defend the ring, so I reckon in the future it will now be defendable once annually. Jayd313316 (talk) 01:05, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Maxwell Jacob Friedman
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Maxwell Jacob Friedman's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT⚡ 10:57, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
So What now?
editDo we treat MJF as a Free Agent, as he is no longer on the AEW Roster online but, there is a huge thought that he re-signed. KENGRIFFEY24FAN (talk) 06:26, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Until news breaks that he's no longer with AEW, nothing changes. The rumour mill is currently suggesting that he re-signed with AEW some time ago. — Czello (music) 10:26, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Some rumors think he resigned but not everyone is confident. He should be treated as a Free Agent as he has been removed from the AEW roster page; just like Andrade who left AEW as of 12am. 69.125.202.71 (talk) 20:36, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Not until there's confirmation he's left. — Czello (music) 21:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- His contract was up on January 1st like we should follow the facts instead of the rumors until the rumors are proven to be fact 69.125.202.71 (talk) 01:43, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- There is no confirmation his contract has expired, and there isn’t even confirmation that was when his contract was up - that's more rumour. Nothing changes until we have confirmation. — Czello (music) 07:40, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

MJF Height
editI don’t know who put 5’8 feet tall for MJF billed height. But he’s 5’11 or 6 foot. He’s not 5’8 and I can’t fix the problem because the account is locked. So your Wikipedia company needs to stop fibbing on information. 2603:8001:7F00:4521:19D4:C4C7:2C42:418C (talk) 05:20, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Per the source:
Listen … if you google me, I think it says I’m 5'11" — but we all know that’s horsesh*t. I’m like 5'8", guys.

On June 29, 2024, in response to reports about Tama Tonga wearing a shirt similar to his, Friedman announced that he had a bowel movement on the social media platform X. This was followed by Joey Janela declaring he did too. [1] 2601:640:C900:5070:3FAF:E443:66D0:9A28 (talk) 17:35, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
