editI'm not sure why this was tagged for deletion so quickly. He's a fairly famous person in Australian media history, especially as a "rebel publisher". I wouldn't create an article in wikipedia if I didn't think it was worthwhile! Dodgyville (talk)

As a family friend, Max Newton was gregarious & outrageous: a larger than life publisher who was both brilliant & defiant. Please put back the link to Max Newton's biography - he was a HUGE part of Melbourne 70's 'cultcha'. Jsjaldridge (talk) 21:03, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
