May Edgington at the Orlando Project (Cambridge University Press) has slightly more information, including the fact that May is a nom de plume. Her real name was Helen Marion Edginton. The page notes that she published more than 50 romances .... IMDb shows 17 writing credits. Someone may want to evaluate this material, as it does seem to show a somewhat greater "notability".
