I think Mayagna is the name used by the people themselves, (either that or they are a subset of the Sumo, not sure which). [1]--Yuletide19:10, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

If the article itself says that the term the article derives its title from is considered derogatory, almost exclusively refers to the people as the Mayangna save for one or two quotations, and has the article title in parentheses as an "also known as" after "Mayangna" in the introduction, is there any reason why the name of the article should not be changed to "Mayangna people"?
