  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):  
    too much needless repetition, eg in "Background and composition", in four sentences you use four times "Maybe This Christmas Too?". You can replace with "it", or "The song" in the second paragraph.
I replaced one appearance of the album title. MTCT is now used three times, once in the first sentence and a second time to re-establish the subject after mentioning other albums in the series with similar names. The album title is also used when differentiating between the three versions of the Barenaked Ladies song.
