Nothing about the Show
editThis article says nothing about Mayberry, except stating that it's "the fictional town from The Andy Griffith Show." It should have actual details about the fictional Mayberry (from the show, that is), if nothing else, to explain the "cultural effect" that it has since created. So I'm going to include at least a paragraph.
Mayberry facts
edit- On one epsiode Goober says he can hear music from a radio which is being broadcast from Raleigh, North Carolina 60 miles away!
- On one epsiode {Goat eating dynamite} the mayor office is on the 2nd floor of the courthouse.A goof is that insdie the courthouse there are no stairs to be seen! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.53.145.171 (talk) 23:43, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Mayberry Security Bank
editWe (Read: not me) need to add the bank in the section of commercial buildings. It has been robbed at least a couple times, and the inept guard Asa is also notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.81.147.3 (talk) 03:37, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Mayberry: the Name
editSomeone (Read: not me) can delete the two references that Mayberry was named by Griffith; those who read the Larry King interview with him can read clearly it was not him. Not one, but two, references however is made in the article that it was him, both citing a performer on the show, but with no references. These should be deleted, yes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.14.23.236 (talk) 12:47, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
- One found and removed. I can't see the other one. Heenan73 (talk) 03:14, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Mayberry: Dates
editNo dates; when did the TV shows take place?
Were they set in the present or at some point in the past? Heenan73 (talk) 03:05, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Bi-location?
editSaint Gerard Majella was supposedly capable of this, but how is Mayberry in both NC and LA? 71.177.145.169 (talk) 02:13, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
