- Although it is tempting, please do not wikilink 'Hamilton City Council'; this goes to a municipal government in Canada.
- The article does not belong into the category 'Politics of Hamilton, New Zealand', as 'Mayors of Hamilton, New Zealand ' in itself is a subcategory to that one.
- For the same reason of already being in a subcategory, the article does not belong into the category 'People from Hamilton, New Zealand'.
