McGangBang
editHey guys, I was the original author of the paragraph on the McGangBang about a year ago and just now realized that it had recently been removed from the page. I put it back up at the end of the "variants" section for now but I am open to moving it to the "history" section or creating an entirely new section (like "trivia") if you all feel that would be a more suitable place.
Love ya,

ld discussion
editI'm sorry I'm new on Wikipedia, I just wanted to ask someone to change the link related to "One dollar menu" from the "mcdonald's" page to "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonald%27s_menu_items#.22Dollar_Menu.22"
Thanks.
"McChicken Sandwich"
editIsn't the word "Sandwich" part of the name of this sandwich, i.e. "McChicken Sandwich" as opposed to just "McChicken"? 217.34.39.123 16:39, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's possible this is one of the international variations. It's certain the "McChicken Sandwich" on menus here in the UK but the links suggest that in the US it's just "McChicken". Perhaps the difference is just down to local associations - weren't nuggets here using "McChicken" rather than "McNuggets" at some point in the 1980s? Timrollpickering (talk) 23:21, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
The text implies that it does not carry the name Sandwich in the UK because (allegedly) in that country a sandwich can only be between two pieces of sliced bread. The former claim is false and the latter highly questionable.
Picture Removed
editI removed the picture because the picture is not a McChicken. This picture said it was a "dollar menu McChicken", but the dollar menu chicken burgers are called Junior Chickens. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FogDevil (talk • contribs) 02:17, 16 October 2007 (UTC) This is in Canada alone, in America the dollar menu McChicken is the same thing. 66.57.20.114 (talk) 23:11, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
How they make it
editIs it true that the McChicken is made from whole chicken carcasses that are just chucked into a grinder then made into patties? I came to this article to try to read up on it, but it doesn't have anything that addresses this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JesuXPIPassio (talk • contribs) 21:38, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- I doubt it, considering it's obviously just breast meat. 115.166.36.210 (talk) 12:37, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Uncited info deletion
editThere is a section that is uncited (and a bit grphic, lol) about the slaughter of the chickens. While this seems all good to me, it does imply that this is how just McChicken chickens are slaughtered and not all (or most) chickens are. Plus, the citation doesn't verify.--FUNKAMATIC ~talk 00:52, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Remove the first reference
editThe first reference has absolutely nothing to do with the history of McDonald's or the McChicken, it is simply attention grabbing by a news outlet for reading an article about someone that failed to eat 100 sandwiches. Please omit the reference or replace it with an actual reference. 2603:6011:7502:D99A:24B8:1E5D:9B87:6380 (talk) 01:00, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
Price
edit"In the United States, the sandwich's size has shrunk over time to maintain a consistent price point"
Uhhh but it hasn't maintained a consistent price? — THORNFIELD HALL (Talk) 09:31, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
