Having a difficult time rewording to NPOV. Can someone advise/assist? I don't see any necessarily promotional verbiage currently, since noteworthy accomplishments always sound like bragging anyway. I didn't write the original article; just trying to update when suddenly the "fansite" box appeared. Is there a good secret or rule of thumb for NPOV? Thank you! >^.*.^< (talk) 19:37, 18 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

There are a lot of peacock terms and unverified grandiose claims in the current version of the article. I would start with removing and rewording those. Here are some examples:
  • the first ever all-girl, all-singing pop/hip-hop group. First ever is juvenile and jingoistic. First would be sufficient and professional. Regardless, the claim to be first needs a citation.
  • Burmese marketing expert U Moe Kyaw. Who says he or she is an expert?
  • the group's belief that the young women of Myanmar should stand proud and make change together. This sounds important but is kind of meaningless. When have they expressed this belief. What kind of change do they seek?
  • the country's strong traditions. Which strong traditions?
  • The band became internationally recognized. Meaningless. Does this mean someone outside of Myanmar recognizes them?
  • debuted their country’s first overtly political song. First? Needs a citation to back up that bold claim.
These are just some examples from the first few paragraphs. Pburka (talk) 02:02, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
