Hi @MelanieN: just wondering who placed the A7 on this article yesterday, as Meau is a chart-topping artist (having had a number one song in the Netherlands). Understandably it wasn't made so obvious on the article before, but just thought we should let that user know. Ss11221:05, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Ss112: I was a bit surprised the article was (speedy) deleted tbh, especially since nl and de wiki's already were in place. On the other hand Meau's nr 1 spot on the Dutch charts was not stated in the first version. Also the citation provided was in Dutch and behind a paywall so I can understand why WP:N regarding this musician would not have been obvious by non-Dutch. It was actually A7'ed by an administrator, and a long-established one at that. And it wasn't a trigger-happy call; the article had been sitting there for a week as a single sentence, saying in total that she is a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. The two sources were an interview in Dutch behind a paywall, and a discography which is not an RS. I see that the article was promptly recreated - still a stub, but at least it now mentions that she had a #1 hit song, so it shouldn't be deleted again. -- MelanieN (talk) 22:29, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
