WP:REFSPAM
edit@Bobherry: The JCI and Dean Mechanical references are a commercial sales websites. Adding these as a reference is a form of spamming because it promotes one vendor. Moreover, there is nothing on these webpage that actually supports the statement it references ("Often, the control system hardware is located in the mechanical room and monitored or accessed remotely."). Per WP:VENDOR: "Journalistic and academic sources are preferable, however, and e-commerce links should be replaced with reliable non-commercial sources if available." Dozens (if not hundreds) of academic text books on HVAC systems are available that will be much better sources. In an article on JCI Building Automation, yes, one would expect this reference, but in a generic article like this one, it is WP:REFSPAM, WP:LINKSPAM, and WP:PROMO. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 13:39, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
