Himalayan blue poppy — violet coloration and big problems with cultivation

An expert said that this poppy begins to die around 70F. It can't keep up with its respiration because it's adapted to Himalayan altitude. People often claim that the solution is to grow it in shady conditions. That's not what he said. He said it's a full sun plant. Full cool sun. He also said purple in the petals is a sign that the plant is sick from too much heat. There shouldn't be any purple coloration. He also said that people are scamming others by telling them zone hardiness data that just doesn't work with the way this plant grows. It can't tolerate warm temperatures, even in the 70s.
