Hamas threatening journalists, better source needed
editThis source used for the section on Hamas threatening journalists in Gaza does not look like a reliable source to me. I deleted the section, pending a better source. QiwXAatUnL (talk) 00:43, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
The sources in the section Criticism of coverage
editThe difference in the sub-sections of "Criticism of coverage" is striking but not surprising. The first part are from a columnist in The Guardian (Owen Jones), an open letter signed by people like Noam Chomsky and John Pilger and covered in The Independent etc. while the section below is based on what the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) and their affiliate BBC Watch have written. If there is no coverage on that from a secondary source, it is not notable. --IRISZOOM (talk) 02:20, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
A part irrelevant and issue with the lead
editI removed the part about Osama Hamdan's comment, which were added by Wlglunight93 from Antisemitism#Palestinian territories. This article is about the media coverage of the 2014 conflict, not hateful statements by Hamas members or others. So it should include types like that The Sydney Morning Herald published an antisemitic cartoon.
Parts of the lead are not used as an overview but rather as examples and should therefore be moved to the different sections of the article. --IRISZOOM (talk) 02:59, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
