Can someone please change the capitalization in the title? This is a book called "Medieval Islamic Civilization: An Encyclopedia". Thank you. 12.180.133.18 (talk) 04:59, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hi, 12.180.133.18. I see that you posted a {{help}} tag asking for help with this article. I'll be happy to assist you.
The capitalization on this article's title currently conforms to Wikipedia's manual of style guideline. Specifically, Wikipedia's Naming conventions (capitalization) guideline states that we're not supposed to "capitalize the second or subsequent words in an article title, unless the title is a proper name". So, I'm going to leave this article's title alone. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I'll be happy to assist you further. Happy editing :-) ~Oshwah~ (talk)(contribs)05:11, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Good question. It would probably meet WP:GNG, because it is quoted frequently in other books (as far as I can see on Google Books), but this page is currently little more than a dictionary definition. It says nothing about the relevance of this reference work, just that it exists.... Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 22:18, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
