Medieval Scenarios and Recreation is dedicated to recreating aspects of the Middle Ages. Towards this end, they have a number of unique requirements. Although a surface similarity to other groups such as the Society for Creative Anachronism exists, M.S.R.'s requirements of leather or steel armor, dedication to specific skills, and level of activity place them in a unique category. They maintain a Jousting Team, with four horses. Their featured event, the Sands Point Medieval Festival, is currently in its 25th year.

I have seen an indication that Medieval Scenarios and Recreations, Inc. is a non-profit organization located at 12 Forster Parkway, Mount Vernon, New York, 10552, but this information may not be reliable.--Dthomsen8 (talk) 03:27, 24 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
