Spam

edit

"TechCrunch had a follow up a year later and maintained that Twoo was still following the same spamming methods as it had reported the previous year"

And they're still at it. I'm getting spam "X left a message for you" messages now. He didn't, my address has clearly been harvested from his contacts, and to read this non-existant message I have to create a Twoo account. This dishonest use of contact lists ought to be brought out more strongly. Bagunceiro (talk) 18:25, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The site represents itself as a social networking site. It allows you to login with Facebook. Upon logging in a dating profile is automatically created for you, your sexual preference and age range are selected for you, and all of your contacts are automatically messaged. I'm not sure how to appropriately add this type of information to the article. It is an issue though. DM-Trip (talk) 20:48, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have been spammed by this outfit too. I have told my e-mail host to block the scum. Viewfinder (talk) 07:53, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Claim "World's Largest Dating Site"

edit

The reference in the article does not support the claim, "Too.com is the world's largest dating website" in any meaningful way. From the reference, "Such is the success of Twoo.com that it was recently named the world’s biggest dating site." This claim is made without any evidence, further information, link, or other form of citation to the party making the claim. Thus, I am removing the line in the article.DM-Trip (talk) 20:26, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
