If there's a tone problem I didn't spot, this flag can be restored, but please indicate the nature of the tone problem, because most of the content here seems fairly standard. — MaxEnt 17:10, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Balance

edit

If the lead is going to point out the most prominent member of the family (previously unnamed), in my view balance demands that it also points out a notable scallywag.

Neither to I think it does justice to the lead (leads must summarize) to evade the issue entirely by pointing out neither. — MaxEnt 17:12, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Uncited/dubious additional children attributed to Matthew Taylor Mellon, II (1964–2018)

edit

Two additional children were added and attributed to Matthew Taylor Mellon, II (1964–2018) in this article (editor), but the editor (Special:Contributions/PAX4499 didn't provide a reliable source and has no other contribution history. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if the editor (Special:Contributions/PAX4499 would like to include a citation and re-add it, then I hope s/he will. The dubious additional children added were:

- Anders L. Mellon (b. 1992) (Originally added as Andrew L.J. Mellon II but then change by Special:Contributions/DavisC4934

- Thomas W. Mellon (b. 1992) Westminsterwildcat (talk) 20:45, 25 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
