This entry is thorough and rich in information. The entry was well-organized, making it easy to read. I found the inclusion of sub-headings in the "Mating" section especially helpful. It broke down this complex process into steps that can be understood with ease. I made some minor edits for clarity, such as adding sentences about their inability to fly. I also included an extra photo of the beetle for more visual content. Additionally, I changed the heading from "Cantharidin to "Chemical Defense Mechanism" to better explain the toxicity of their storage fluid. As for additional information, I suggest adding a section about their interactions with humans, including measures taken to prevent crop damage, as they often feed on crops according to the lead section. Overall amazing job on this!! JacksonPanWashU (talk) 16:11, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Great entry and great information on this beetle! your writing is neutral and very characteristic of the wikipedia expections. I combed through for any grammar or spelling errors and found very few. I did note that there were some fairly advanced terms in this article, such as phoresy or entomophagous, which I quickly defined so it would be understood by all readers. One thing I noted was that he introduction of the article mentioned the beetle's importance to medicine. Given that this was mentioned in the intro, I was expecting to find more information on that aspect of the beetle in the article. There was one sentence that stated that Cantharidin is used in medicine, but no further information was provided. So I would suggest potentially adding more information about the beetle's use to the field of medicine, or take that out of the intro! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ardenpedraja (talkcontribs) 00:46, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
