Crops Grown in Melokoza

The major crops grown in the area includes Maize, Teff, Sorghum, Rice, Barley Wheat, common bean, Enset, Cassava, Sweet potato, Irish potato, Taro, Coffee, Pepper, ground nut, Mango, Avocado and Banana. The area has two cropping seasons' autumn and summer.

The district is uniquely blessed by weather conditions, land topology and soil properties that favour cash crops such us Coffee, Ethiopian cardamom (Corerima), Sesame, Green Grams, Ginger and Bananas. Kassahun Solomon (talk) 22:20, 27 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
