Why does this page contain a layout of the airport but when visiting the official website it says the layout has been disabled for security reasons? Maybe it should be taken down?

- I disagree. It's publicly available on the FAA NACO website to anybody who pleases. I don't see why we should be barred from having it. thadius856talk 06:09, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Northwest Airlines and Northwest Air Link have been changed to show that they are now wholly owned subsidies of Delta Air Lines after their merger was approved by the Department of Justice late last week. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.30.178 (talk) 22:38, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- They are still a seperate carrier (Northwest is still called Northwest and their flights are not yet Delta flights. Delta just owns Northwest) so we can't put it under Delta when airlines begin intergrating services that will take about a year or two to complete. Cashier freak (talk) 01:07, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
NWA MEM-YVR
editThere is indeed an YVR-MEM flight. Here it is:
- Northwest Airlines 1660
- Equipment: A320
- Depart: 8:40 AM Memphis, TN (MEM)
- Arrive: 11:19 AM Vancouver, BC (YVR)
- Approx. flight miles: 1,940
- Meal: Food for purchase
- Duration: 4 hr 39 min
This is taken from NWA.com booking engine. Please stop removing this. Cashier freak (talk) 04:48, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Old Runways
editThe picture of the old terminal in the article shows runway 3-21 (lower left to upper right) that no longer exists. Runway 14-32 (upper left to lower right) is now taxiway V3. Runway 17-35 to the right of frame is part of taxiway C now. Prior to the 1960's expansion the current terminal and associated north-south runways did not exist. FedEx Destinations
editDoes anyone have a citation for the FedEx destinations? Looking to add this to a few other airports, like Nashville International Airport, and I'd like to be able to source it.nf utvol (talk) 16:22, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Memphis International Airport. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}

WP:Airports Former Destinations Project
editI am currently taking the lead on adding former destinations lists to former hub airports. This information has been decided to be important, especially for airports which have been reduced like CVG or even dehubbed such as PIT, CLE, MEM, ect. I have already experimented and implemented a list on the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport page and it turned out very well, if you would like to see an example. The next step is to expand to other airports, and I am currently looking towards MEM because it should be a much smaller list than some other airports. I have included some sources below to get started and please see Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport for an example: http://www.departedflights.com http://www.departedflights.com/NWMEMhub.html http://www.departedflights.com/oagintro.html
I am probably not going to get to doing it for all these airports, but here are the resources needed in the meantime. Thanks. Stinger20 (talk) 00:33, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
Naming campaigns
editShouldn't there be something about the campaigns to rename the barely international airport in honor of Elvis? Sources can be found on Google: https://www.google.is/search?q=memphis+international+change+to+elvis+international&ie=&oe= . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.208.181.44 (talk) 22:57, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

I have been told by a pilot that for those hours Fedex has been granted special permission to operate with a reduced interval between flights. I have also been told that for 2 of those hours this is the busiest airport in the world, which is why it is the busiest daily cargo airport in the world. I am pinging those have previously displayed interest in this topic with editing activity. Can someone who has an interest in this topic research this set of facts.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:08, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
