editWhy did Harry Enfield leave the show?
POV
editThis article reads too much like an advertisement for the show, and it's written from a very American perspective (fancy not knowing what 'bloke' means). All the opinions in the article are lacking sources, etc. Needs a professional cleanup. Come to think of it, maybe I've put the wrong tag on here... Oh well, CBF. - It also describes Anthea as a 'bachelorette'. Apart from this being an Americanism, it portrays a young, fun-loving unmarried by choice woman - Anthea is a stereotypical lonely spinster! Smurfmeister (talk) 14:09, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Miscellanea
editArticle is inconsistent, it claims that Tony makes a meal for Deb in S1E03, but Tony's character - per this article and my own recollections - does not appear in series 1 at all. Was it Enfield's character Dermot who makes the meal? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.1.159.86 (talk) 20:11, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
US version
editThe US version has 35 episodes, I think it deserved more mention (or even it's own article) Rm999 09:23, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- Best bet then surely would be to start a new entry entitled Men Behaving Badly (US Version) and reference to it on this entry 21stCenturyGreenstuff (talk) 15:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Season One
editGoing from the episode count and airdates - surely Season One is actually 2 seperate seasons?--Tuzapicabit (talk) 12:17, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, and it's not a 'season' at all - this is England, it's a series! 195.188.40.144 (talk) 11:03, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Article is not clear on which seasons Leslie Ash (and the other female regular) appeared. Was Ash in all seasons? Format (talk) 08:55, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- With the exception of Neil Morrissey, all of the main characters appeared in all seasons/series. ElvisFan1981 (talk) 09:16, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Dorothy's surname?
editI have the MBB boxset and I noticed that on Dorothy's uniform during series 1 and 2 her name badge says "Dorothy Martin". I believe that during the ITV run they had her name as "Dorothy Martin" and then when they moved to BBC someone decided to change her name to "Dorothy Bishop" for reasons unknown. I think her ITV name should be mentioned in the article along with her BBC name. I would do it myself but I know nothing of editing wiki. I just thought I'd point it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.233.208 (talk) 02:08, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
UK show in the US
edit"The original series was eventually screened in the US on BBC America as British Men Behaving Badly."
Maybe it's not worth mentioning, but I know I saw the UK series - including season one with Enfield - on a US PBS station in the mid 90s (along with things like Keeping Up Apperances, Are You Being Served, Yes Minister, etc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.224.73.221 (talk) 04:17, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
In and around Ealing?
editIs this site completely wrong then? It places the main exterior location in Surbiton. OrangeDog (τ • ε) 20:51, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
I don't know if any scenes were filmed in Surbiton, but several were definitely filmed in Ealing. When Tony works as a mime, he is performing in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, and in "Dorothy: the video", the restaurant where Gary says he and Dorothy had their first date, Monty's, is in Ealing. 2A00:23C7:8905:CC01:8955:9105:90DC:296B (talk) 16:11, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
