It would be helpful if pages related to plants indicate the planting zones. Tesseract501 (talk) 14:22, 11 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mint Smell

edit

I love this plant. It works well between my flagstone; it grows between them without covering the stone in masses. Hence, I need to do very little cutting back. Although it is safe up to zone 7, I have grown it in zone 5 (albeit, in sunny and somewhat protected areas of the zone). As such, it has returned after winter. One comment about the article referencing a "desireable mint smell" -- not everyone likes the smell. Some opinions are that it gives off a cemical-mint-like smell (chemical being a descriptive term, not a literal term -- since the plant is all natural). Hence, it might be more accurate for the article to qualify the adjective along the lines of "gives off a mint smell that some folks find desirable". Tesseract501 (talk) 18:03, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
