Talk:Mercedes-Benz M119 engine

The article repeatedly states M119.985 code, but is that correct? There are many versions of the M119. I know that the 119.985 was used on the E420 and E50. I'm highly suspicious about other applications using the same code.

Also, was there really an M119 6.3? And if so, was it really a "very short PRODUCTION run" as the article states? I would suspect that any 6.0 and 6.3 engines were custom fabricated by AMG? Stating "production run" seems to imply that they were produced by mercedes as part of the official lineup. But I don't think models using M119 in either engine size appear in the mercedes EPC, for example.

Wtf???

This article said "retarded" twice. Why not use a proper word like "retreated" or "withdrawn"? 76.90.211.160 (talk) 19:52, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
