List of companies
editGogo Dodo please do not keep deleting the list of current merchant cash advance funding companies. In this industries there are only a handful of reputable companies (most listed here). Then thousands or resellers who claim to be actual funding companies and many times are less than truthful with merchants. Segriest (talk) 03:05, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Segriest
- The entire list is just link spam, advertising, or completely unsourced that these are notable companies. Wikipedia is not a directory of cash advance companies. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:58, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Insulam Simia
editThe previous talk item on the MCA page justifies the inclusion of the list of companies.
This is from 2011 and hasn't been a problem until Insulam Simia decided to remove it.
MCA is not a typical product offered outside the US, and this is a valid section for merchants looking for alternative financing options. Even the author of the talk item acknowledged that the sector is rife with ISO's, resellers looking to syndicate, and predatory lenders that do not offer MCAs.
I understand Wikipedia is not a company directory or an advertising site. If Insulam Simia would rather clarify that the list represents MCA companies that fund their own deals then that would be acceptable, as it would not be advertising but would clarify companies that are actually in the business of originating, funding, and maintaining cash advances.

- Just because this is such a specialist service, it doesn't mean we can ignore the rules and add links of companies that offer MCAs (BTW, another user MER-C undid your edits as well). Wikipedia is a place for factual encyclopedic info. We don't, and will not provide linked lists of companies (however legitimate, rare, notable or non-promotional they are) that offer services. Maybe I did cite WP:ELNO#5 inappropriately for this situation, and as a matter of fact, WP:ELNO#5 says web pages, not websites.
- Maybe you can add something in the article about the seldom amount of companies offering MCAs. However, of course, it must be accompanied by a reliable source. Insulam Simia (talk · contribs) 16:22, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

What is a Business Cash Advance?
editCapital is the life’s blood of any growing business. A business cash advance may be a solution. Without it, you can have vision and drive, but will be limited in taking next steps and generating the powerful expansion and profit you are after.
Unfortunately, traditional lenders and banks aren’t a great fit for the majority of American businesses, and the alternatives that are used - like short-term “hard money” financing - are inflexible and add undue pressure to your growing pains.
It doesn’t have to be like this because a business cash advance truly can fund the impossible.
A Business Cash Advance is an actual advance given to an existing business owners or existing merchants in exchange for a small percentage of that future credit card processing sales and future deposits into your checking account. This type of financial product has been offered for nearly ten years and it’s also known as a Merchant Cash Advance. Although it may seem similar, it is not a traditional business loan. Instead, an agreed fee amount or agreed fixed percentage of the total advance is paid in addition to original amount of the merchant advance.
Qualifying is extremely easy and fast. Business owners must have been in operation for at least six months, and the business must be able to accept and process credit cards for purchases. Most business experiencing challenged and poor credit score, don’t worry it’s OK. Unlike bank loans our advance programs focus on finding ways to fund, no collateral and limited paperwork usually required by banks. This ensures fast business funding to our customers.
In today’s economic climate even if you have good credit and you’ve been operating profitably getting a business loan is not so easy. A Business Cash Advance or Merchant Cash Advance has solved that problem offering fast, easy access to working capital. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rickyj2201 (talk • contribs) 20:15, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
