Property law? Or contract law?
editI don't think this article addresses at all what the merger doctrine actually is in property law. I think it is a totally unrelated concept in contracting for a subject matter that happens to be realty. In property law, the merger doctrine has to do with multiple estates that one person holds combining into one estate under certain circumstances.
