• "she is widely regarded as one of the greatest film actors of all time" - is this meant to read 'actresses'? Or is she regarded as one of the greatest out of both male and female actors?

I would re-structure this into something like Streep has also received 29 Golden Globe nominations, out of which she won eight. She also received more nominations and more competitive (non-honorary) wins than any other actor (male or female) in history

that would repeat "also" though, I've altered slightly.

• "at times when she needed later needed an injection of confidence" - too many "needed"s

fixed.

• "Author Karina Longworth described her as a "gawky kid with glasses and frizzy hair", yet notes that she liked to show off" - noted

• "in which Streep is ordered by an SS guard at Auschwitz" - just for the reader's sake, I would link Schutzstaffel to SS for more accessibility

That's all of the initial prose issues I could find, but overall this article is well researched and well written. I did spot a few choppy sentences here and there and I thought some parts of the lead are a bit "list-y" but that's in the FA league! I'll leave this on hold if you still want to ask more people to look at this. I personally thought that Streep's portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady was incredible and couldn't have been done better by anyone else! JAGUAR  13:14, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
