The current version of this article contains the statement "The Meta Romuli was a monumental burial erected in the Roman age," but could we be a little more specific? That age lasted from the 8th century BC through the 5th century AD, the better part of a millennium. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 23:23, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reason for its destruction?

A pope ordered its destruction in order for a road to built (Via Alessandrina)?
