Title
editWould this page perhaps be better off at Meteorite hunting, and devoted to the hobby itself rather than to its practitioners? Gonzonoir (talk) 16:43, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- That would definitely be an improvement and would only require the lead to be changed; the rest of the article is already written that way. Added to meteorites task force to-do list. -Arb. (talk) 22:46, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
- I also think the move is a good idea. --Tobias1984 (talk) 09:10, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
This article suggests that the US gov't simply seized the meteor from the interned Japanese without mentioning that they were compensated for it. http://siarchives.si.edu/blog/finding-something-cool-without-even-trying contains the story of officials making efforts to compensate them (subjectively) fairly for the find, and making efforts to try to maximize their reward, especially given their situation. Perhaps working this in or revising the language to be more neutral about the gov't action would provide a more objective account. Aleigh9812 (talk) 03:49, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
