3 pathways?
editThe source on methanogenesis for methanosarcina says it uses all "3" pathways for methanogenesis. But, the wikipedia article on methanogenesis only shows two. I guess there is a third, but I can't find it. any "real" scientists want to figure out what the thrid pathway is? It should probably be added to the methanogenesis page. Unless, the third pathways is the carbon monizde / acetate pathways used by Methanosarcina acetivorans Rich.lewis 17:32, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind, found it here (PDF). Rich.lewis 17:36, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

- Some not neutral words and citations in this article: the word like "the only" "must" and the citation number 2 and number 16. The citation number 2 and number 16 are from news website. Since there always have bias in news, these citations are not neutral.
- The part such as overview and used by humans need to have more citations to support the statement in these parts. For example, the second sentence in the part of overview "Most methanogens make methane from carbon dioxide and hydrogen gas. Other utilize acetate in the acetoclastic pathway." needs some citations since there should have enough evidence to support the statement such as "most".
- There are also some links to other article pages do not exist. For example, In the first paragraph of the overview part, There are two link to other article does not exist: acetoclastic and methyl thiols.
- The reference of the article also need to be fixed. In the reference part, number 3 to 7, number 10 and 11, number 18 to 20 do not have link to the actual article. That is the reference part we need to fix.
