Is this really an anti-biotic?
- Yes; it's sold under the brand names Hiprex, Mandelamine, and Urex, and is used for the treatment of urinary tract infections [1] [2]. Best wishes, David Iberri | Talk 20:44, Oct 29, 2004 (UTC)

Methenamine (drug) → Methenamine – "Methenamine" is the formal name of the compound used as a drug, while "hexamethylenetetramine" is the name of the compound as a chemical and in general. So "methenamine (drug)" is actually a little redundant and unnecessary. Thus the requested move. 76.174.0.57 (talk) 08:35, 14 October 2024 (UTC) This is an uncontroversial technical request (permalink). ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 13:37, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
