editMethylparaben is an anti-fungal as explained here (http://www.lookchem.com/Methyl-Paraben/#Uses) and by many other sources on the internet. Nowhere else does anyone claim that it is a pH balancer. Until a few days ago this page also said it was an anti-fungal. Why was that information removed and replaced with this unreferenced claim? Note also that 'inhostile' is not a word. 129.100.207.211 (talk) 23:27, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
The link "parenteral" under heading "Safety" links to "intraperitoneal" instead of parenteral. Was this intended? Xtal42 (talk) 02:36, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
"Usage of methylparaben is known to slow Drosophila growth rate in the larval and pupal stages." Unsourced, and I can't find anything to back it up. I'll keep looking, but if something doesn't come up, I'm going to delete this information. I'd rather the article not include information that might be wrong. 108.205.160.241 (talk) 07:36, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
