editI have to do some more research, but I think that the Metropol Theater (and thus Neues Schauspielhaus) actually fell into in East Berlin, not West as currently stated. The name Theater im Admiralspalast might also be needed in the historical discussion. Note that the site of the building now know as the Komische Oper originally held an earlier Metropol Theater.Stagehand (talk) 20:40, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Those were two different establishments. The “Metropol-Theater” in East-Berlin (1898-1998) (Metropol-Theater in de-WP) was the more famous one, but the “Neues Schauspielhaus” in West-Berlin was also called “Metropol” from 1951 on for a few years (being a movie theater back then). --Diggindeeper (talk) 12:00, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
