"Enthusiasts of archaeoastronomy"
editDo these enthusiasts of the "archaeoastronomical interpretation" also propose that these ancient astronomers sat on those stones to better study the skies? 21 ancient astronomers sitting in a single row, one wonders what secrets of the universe they probed. Their knowledge of straight-line geometry is enviable, tho. But if you would have asked them about it today, they probably would have said "Me? Me? Noooo!", and they'd be telling the truth, and would have been flattered that the "enthusiasts of history" imagine ancient science in an archaeological site that was more likely linked to an ancient fertility cult, sadly though. ---Yashar
