IUCN Map is wrong

edit

Just a note: I was trying to make a range map for this species, but the IUCN range map is wrong - it shows that the full extent of the range for the Mexican Gray Squirrel (Sciurus aureogaster) is limited to one small barrier island off of the coast of southeast Florida, even though it (and other sources) also state quite clearly that its range encompasses a very large area from Central America up through California. Here is the URL for this map: http://www.iucnredlist.org/apps/redlist/details/20006/0/rangemap Since I cannot find another range map for this species, I will be unable to create a map to upload here. If anyone finds a map that has this information, please contact me, and I'll create an SVG map to upload to Wikicommons so we can use it here. --Saukkomies talk 01:24, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
